Before we get started my name is Nyx (pronounced nicks) and no, I wasn’t named after the basketball team nor Stevie, but my name does have a meaning: according to Greek mythology, Nyx is the goddess of night and daughter of chaos.

     I attend San Pedro High School (Go Pirates!), and I'm looking forward to attending college, hopefully at Cal Berkeley (Go Bears!). I love NorCal! I'm sixteen years old and my birthday is on September 21st (I'm a virgo and perfectionist). I'm on varsity swim at my high school and am an avid triathlete. I participated in Academic Decathlon this year and got a gold in speech. I'm president of my high school's Key Club and up for nearly anything challenging. I also like backpacking, hiking, water polo, running marathons, helping out those in need, hanging out with my friends, acting and doing improvisation (I dream to be an actress), and in my free time I like to sleep.
