My name is Chukwufumnanya Igbinosa Adeyinka Ekhator. My name is saturated with the devout faith that is the foundation of my parents' identities. In English, my first name has two meanings: "God loves me," a statement, and "God, love me," a request. Igbinosa means "I run up to God," and Adeyinka means "I am surrounded by crowns" or "I am a descendant of greatness." My surname, Ekhator, is an open ended statement that means "If only we can live long..." Everyone calls me Fumnanya, the three syllable-eight lettered second half of my first name, for short; Fumnanya on its own simply means "Love me."
I am opinionated, I love to read, write, and think; I am a passionate individual who is very aware of her world, and loves it enough to earnestly try to change it. I have an opinion about everything I hear or see, and I think it is important to be engaged in the surrounding world. I have been absorbed in the recently passed historic election, and regularly pay attention to current events. I express my opinions through writing. Writing is my voice, pure and refined; it is a vent for me. My writing is translated thought, and it allows me to communicate with the world in a way that forces it to listen; it is a form of filtered communication, sifting out the excess and leaving only the substance.
