Alexis Wallace

I was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, but my life as a Utahan would be short-lived, as I would soon consider the beautiful state of Arizona my home. I have lived in the state since kindergarten and have come to love, and sometimes hate, the scorching hot summers, snowless Christmases, and omnipresent cacti. I currently live in Phoenix with my mom, dad, younger sister Vanessa, and dog GiGi, and attend Pinnacle High School as an incoming senior.
I am president of Key Club at Pinnacle, which is one of the largest clubs on campus. Community service is definitely a major priority in my life, and through Key Club, I am able to influence my peers to become proactive citizens and role models. I am also the co-president of Calc Squad (Calculus Club), Community Service Coordinator for NHS, and a member of the Society of Women Scholars, French Club, la Société Honoraire de Français, and the freshmen mentor program.
Outside of school, I absolutely love all forms of artistic expression, whether it be sketching, painting, or playing acoustic guitar. I'm always trying to find new, ecclectic music (especially British alternative rock), and my iPod is filled with bands that no one has ever heard of.
With regards to the future, I hope to further my desire to improve humanity by attending a top university like Stanford, MIT, CalTech, or UC Berkeley to major in either engineering or political science. I have aspirations of becoming either a mechanical/robotics engineer or a foreign diplomat.
